Do you not understand a number of countries guaranteed Ukraines safety and independence when they gave up nuclear weapons?  Again you need to brush up your history, those countries did little to protect Ukraine from Russias invasion there since 2014 until the last few months.

I understand Barack Obama handed crimea to putin and Hillary Clinton signed the uranium one deal. If putin is such a threat why were those actions taken. And what is Canada doing to protect the west? Are they paying for the arms being supplied by the US? How many tanks is Canada shipping to the Ukraine. How many missile defense systems have they set up to protect Ukrainians? Why are you no longer worried about American imperialism? Did putin knock down any of our tall buildings? Like I say,  in full disclosure "a dude on Joe Rogan" said Putin wanted 2 things#1 Ukraine not in NATO and #2 autonomy for Donbass.   For me to say a dude on Joe Rogan is 100% correct, might not be accurate.  I do know it was reported by many reliable sources that "PUTIN PROMISED THAT HE WAS NOT GOING TO ATTACK UKRAINE"... ya think Putin is a liar?

The reason Putin attacked Ukraine that makes the most sense is what Peter Zeihan concludes that Russia has 7 gaps to protect from invasion that does not have natural barriers like oceans and mountains.  With Russia`s collapsing demographics, 2022 was the LAST CHANCE that Russia could invade Ukraine.  

I believe Peter Zeihan that Russia won`t last beyond the decade (as a credible threat) that plus sanctions, it in my opinion isn`t worth sending much more treasure or any US booooys to fight a country that is in midst of an implosion.

Russia needs the sea as a barrier and Ukraine is "in the way".. (don`t ask me why Putin is this paranoid, but it is what it is) . 

Russia may go back to the original proposal after seeing that Ukraine will defend itself and the resolve of the rest of Europe that wasn`t there after they stole Crimea with no consequences back in 2014.  I don`t know if Putin is smart enough to take that a golden off ramp if he is offered the proposal he wanted a year ago or if he wants his áss kicked some more first?   You`ll have to ask him. 

The question is does Russia want to slowly collapse on THEIR terms or do they want to throw 500,000 more Russian men into the meat grinder and collapse on NATO`s terms?  Again, ask Putin.  

This war will last years unless they agree to peace.  The US will feed weapons, increasingly so.  In the beginning Biden promised "no tanks" now there will be tanks and fighter jets are next.  Nukes probably after that, being as it`s in Russia`s neighborhood ... what is the saying "Don`t sh‹t where you eat"?

In addition, they understood the CIA's Rand Corp plan to suck them deep into Ukraine using more of their force and then try to start a second front to pull them in multiple directions. Which is why they just grinded Ukraine troops into pieces in the East.  Sucks that Ukraine allowed their boys to be puppets to the globalists.
