Took in a couple of Championship games at The State Basketball Tournament.

Kids from your neck of the woods were playing.  Austin ran into a semi-pro metro private school and got beat in the 3A final, but that's not the point.

Little Asian girl from one of the more prosperous Sububs sang the National Anthem. I believe her name was something like Yuan or Yang.  Packers started 3 young men who were 2nd generation of African immigrant families.  Looking across the way it looked like half of Mower County had showed up in red to support them. Huge student section, speckled with "all sorts" sitting and cheering together. 

A gal from back home who we had met there turned around and commented on the nature of it all and used a word I'd never heard her say before.  And I'd never really been aware of her political views. Actually, had actually presumed her to be rather " conservative". Said "xxxx Trump"

Great story there Bruce, a presumed rather conservative gal from back home said to F the President of the US because there were "all sorts" of people in the cheering section.  And you wonder why no one would sit with you.

I know what you`re trying to say, only because I`m part Norwegian.  But the way your story is coming across is that America has a real shortage of basketball players, it`s a "job that Americans won`t do" and the economy would really get rolling and America would be great again if we only had more basketball players.  Trump is limiting the importation of basketball players and the woman (who you thought was a Republican) said, "f*** Trump because he`s wanting to interrupt our little multicultural love fest".    I don`t think that`s what you were going for Bruce, but that is the logical moral that one derives from your fable.
