Nox posted below but needs attention until everyone who can read English has read it.

Re: Back to the top
reminds of the story about running over someone, and then backing up and running over them a few more times. If someone did that to nutz, and you were on the jury, what would you come back with for a verdict? Justifiable for being a sad excuse for a human being?
Re: Back to the top
me bad.....I didn't have my glasses on and thought that BA actually had posted that to show what a morally compromised ****** Nutz was to post that crap, and here it was Bruce....the other doofus twin.
So just take my response times two.
The onion must be unable to even post stories anymore with reality like this.
Re: Joe Stiglitz piles on
Land value tax (Georgism)
Stiglitz argues that land value tax would improve the efficiency and equity of agricultural economies. Stiglitz believes that societies should rely on a generalized Henry George principle to finance public goods, protect natural resources, improve land use, and reduce the burden of rents and taxes on the poor while increasing productive capital formation. Stiglitz advocates taxing "natural resource rents at as close to 100 percent as possible" and that a corollary of this principle is that polluters should be taxed for "activities that generate negative externalities." Stiglitz therefore asserts that land value taxation is even better than its famous advocate Henry George thought.
Re: Since you ask....THIS would be theonion
case in point, from you link to the onion, this story that is supposed to be funny and actually is closer to truthful than anything I have read on any of the supposedly serious sites.
And back to your first "I hate Trump and capitalism" link, the author may have won one of those new toilet paper Nobel prizes, like Krugman and Obama have, but he appears to not be a person of intellectual curiosity, accepting the story of Nero fiddling while Rome burns without any personal investigation. Once I read the opening BS paragraph I knew to discount the rest of the rave, too.
