Heard on the radio that Ben Nelson decided NOT to run for re-election. While he started out as an OK guy, I think he spent too much time in Washington, and started turning into one of the boys. Can't say I'll miss him much, as of late he has turned too much a politician, than statesman, but there are those I'd like to se go, first. I wonder who'll replace him?
For those of you who ask why I won't miss him, I'd say a couple biggies the last couple years would be.
The Cornhusker Kickback. Google it, and you'll see how he got 'special deals' made, in legislation that was supposed to treat everyone the same.
Keystone Pipeline. I think this is the nail in the coffin for his re-election hopes. He waffled this way, and that, and after careful study, decided that he needed more $$$ for his PAC.
