Tail gunner Joe has been proven right, there are communists in Hollywood and now they don`t even hide.  You got a out of the closet socialist running for president, you goy Alternet, Media Matters, Huff-po pushing the Marxist agenda.  You got nazi sympathizer turned communist billionaire George Soros picking the United States president .   I`d say Tail gunner was right, just as Trump is today.

Re: Best Trump comparison

BA you need to check the definition of communists and socialists.

There is a big difference.

You do realize that you support the socialist agenda when you support the farm plan in your country which gives farmers socialist payments?

Therefore you are a socialist supporter!

I do not think you are a communist supporter.

Re: Best Trump comparison

Canuck, socialism and communism are very similar.  Communism is the extreme of socialism.  With socialism, you still have an illusion of how extreme that you want to be through the ballot box. You fool yourself into thinking that "If this goes too far, I know that I can always vote for Bush or Harper in the next election and put a stop to it"  ...with pure communism, there is no way of voting your way out of it.  Basically, socialism is communism where gays are welcome.

The only place where I "support" farm programs is with my tax dollars.  The farm programs give every smaller farmer that isn`t a little crooked the shaft.  Big farmers use the farm program tools to get bigger and over produce, which is what they were designed to do for the cheap food policy.  If I had my way, they never would`ve started the farm program.

Anytime that public money is used to fund a observed "need" in society, that is socialism and of course it isn`t always bad.  To help unemployed, to help those with no other place to go, to build infrastructure that we all use is "good limited socialism" where it goes off the rails is when the government takes over half of your income in taxes, it seems to me it isn`t unreasonable that if you earn $1 that you should keep at least 50¢ of it.  And after those taxes, you should give 100% to your children or where ever you want...you earned it, you already paid income tax on it, when you die 100% should go tax free where ever you want. That is only common sense.

Communism does work in only one place, that is the family structure, the man is the glorious dictator, the wife is the polit bureau and the children are the working class masses  Smiley Happy

Re: Best Trump comparison

No BA communism and socialism are 2 different things.

And if you do not think you and other US farmers do not participate in socialism then why does your government spend BILLION$ of $ every year on subsidies to famers.

I think the budget for subsidizing your crop insurance program is near 10 BILLION $ every year.

That is socialism!

Just because you do not wish to admit it does not change the FACTS.

Because we are lorded over by communist who claim to be socialist. The insurance companies are the government chosen winners and the small beginning farmers are the government chosen losers.

There you go with belief again without recognizing the definition of those words.

Re: Best Trump comparison

Canuck, of course farm programs are socialistic.  I`m just saying that they are an intregal part of the US cheap food policy.  Crop insurance specifically I`ve only collected a couple times in my live, if I was given the choice of getting ALL of my premiums back in exchange for giving back ALL the claims that I collected...I would jump on that offer in a heart beat.  Crop insurance has never net helped me, but what it does is makes land that should really be in pasture less risky for row crops. Now that extra production drives my prices down.  Because I farm soil that God made to grow the best damned corn and beans in the world.

That $10 billion that you say the government spends on crop insurance subsidies ONLY drives my grain prices down...why would I defend that???
