Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
Bill Maher has really been on point the last couple years. The liberals/leftists on here get deaf, dumb & blind and won`t comment. Like the monster under their bed, if they wrap up real tight in the covers, then it doesn`t exist.

Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
He’s always good,. The Lennon bit in this one spot on.
I wouldn’t imagine you would have any appreciation of just how seriously most mature folks on the left take this.
Biggest problem is not what is said but the conversations that are avoided. Leaves big, very tough to backfill gaps.
But…thank the gods that while often noisy, indicative of insecurity and much of it a result generated by having experienced genuine emotional pain it’s a narrow fringe. One that gets more attention than the broad segment of the rightist half that is considerably more extreme.
Urging changes in behavior and seeking to legislate and codify it are 2 very different things. Most particularly when you can take something that you don’t especially care for and take liberty to assign it to something horrific and nefarious.
We are going to get the full dosage of that from the upcoming Desantis assault on well earned traditions and freedoms.

Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
BA , I went to a MN Timberwolves game a month ago or so....got to be there when the franchise played their best game in their checkered history, shot the lights out , and spanked Zack Lavine and the Chicago Bulls. We got there early, were way up in nosebleed heaven and a Timberwolves rep came up and asked if we would like to move down to some better seats. He led us down to three rows behind the Chicago bench, said it was on the house....Glen Taylor was comping us better $200 seats and to enjoy, make some noise, and let them take some pictures.....no problem, right?
Well, right behind us was a row of Bull supporters, I don't know if they had came up from Chicago or what, but they were not very happy with the thunderous dunks, steals, three point shooting that was being furnished to them compliments of Anthony Edwards and his team. They kept yelling out advice to Bulls coach Billy Donovan, and the signature phrase was "you'll figure it out, Billy!!!"
I think Bill Maher is a "Billy" that actually did figure it out.....Bill saw where the "woke" and "me too" movement was heading and what side he was on . Bill Maher "figured it out". I was at a birthday party yesterday and the men there were commenting on recent developments in Minnesota, and they all have it "figured out", too.

Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
We live in an age where a sitting SCOTUS justice admits to not knowing the difference between a man and a woman, because in her own words, and under oath, “I’m not a biologist.” Let Justice Katanji Brown Jackson’s remarkable statement sink in for a bit.
Throw in the Biden Administration’s federal freak show of the cross dressing, MIT nuclear engineer Sam Britton as well as medical doctor and Admiral, Rachael/Richard Levine.
Dare to say aloud that any of the above characters are in some way abnormal or just plain weird, and you my friends will be the ones who come under public ridicule by the MSM & Silicon Valley talking heads. Go figure.

Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
All of them converted Democrats, I’m sure.
I can imagine that a birthday party is an easier environment to hear in than lined up in sniffer’s row by the stage with the DOJ blaring heavy backbeat stuff.
Consensus to run Jensen again arrived at? Or leaning to putting Heinrich Birk at the top of the ticket.

Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
Guys, with Bill Maher listen to the audience reaction, the laughter at the ridiculousness of as he holds up a mirror to this woke movement. 2 years ago, I would imagine the audience wouldn`t be as emboldened to approve what Maher was saying and though Maher is as fearless as it comes in the modern "entertainment" industry, I doubt he would`ve quite did the same monolog 2 years ago. I mean when the AMA recommends not assigning gender at birth ... it`s time to tell Gracie to say "good night".

Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
The dem party has abandoned Bill Maher in favor of the science denying extremist who have over taken the party. He is like the dems in Iowa. What they think doesn't matter. They are white racist scum. They and he are no longer a use to the party so they have been discarded.

Re: Bill Maher on the "woke jokes"
A handful of noisy dedicated fringes with a nominal media cohort?
Or
A million at least flat out radical openly led to the point of being organized nut cases intent on radically changing legislation and law to inhibit traditions of freedom?
Got it!

Next time you sell concessions at the stadium makes sure the men's room is stocked with pads for the menstruating men.
