Re: Bon Voyage
Did that once. 18 years ago. Worst 4 days of my life as a real-time parent . Kept mouth shut, billfold open, smiled. Only thing I said is that I guess we were doing our patriotic duty, just as i told them the first time we walked into a Wal-Mart. They tell me now that they sorta understand what I was saying then, but Ch###t it was painful. But then they do add a question as to why I'm so eager to go pay to see big league, "corporate" baseball games and what's different abou that? All I can tell them at least what we are looking at is real.
Try Duluth, on up the North Shore, cross the border on up to Thunder Bay. And check out the Boundray Waters Area if you've got time.

Re: Bon Voyage
FOOLISHNESS KRAFTY!!!!!! How will that help poor people? Redistributing your own money in that manner is just cruel and unjust! Don't you see how you're making slaves of those poor people? We all know the only just way to redistribute money to the poor is to give it to the government....they will distribute it to the poor and find you a more suitable vacation.

Re: Bon Voyage
You must not have noticed Don doesn't think people should be able choose for themselves what they spend their own money on. Or how Don thinks american businesses should pay higher wages, while he goes to mexico to spend money on low wages. All fine I could care less but he wants to decide how I live don't you think he should live it too?

Re: Bon Voyage
You can live any way you want any place you want. Don't say you can't because you don't believe the govt has any ties on you so therefore, you can do what you wish. You just have to be prepared to pay the consequence or fight it out. You can do as you wish. No one is telling you really can't. If Don or anyone else chooses to spend his money on Snickerdoodles or anything else, he can. It is his money not yours. You don't want to take a cruise, don't! You want to drive around the US, do it. No one is stopping you. Just don't try to tell anyone else what they shouldn't do. A person works 30-50 years and decides to stop and take it easy in his later years, why begrudge him of that? I'm sure when the time comes you will also.

Re: Bon Voyage
As you guys like to remind all us heathens every once in awhile--we are a nation of laws and there are laws that each of us are expected to obey. You have openly admitted to not obeying at least one that I recall and and are also announcing that registering your guns should it become law is not on your list and that whoever comes after them should expect a fight. The truth is you only want to obey laws that you approve of. You want to tell women they can't have an abortion if they desire one. You don't want any one on welfare though you take it yourself. You don't want seniors to get SS or Medicare because, in your opinion, it can't last so get rid of it now. You aren't going to buy into the Affordable Care Act because no one tells you what to do. That's fine with me. What you do in your little corner of the world does not affect me one way or another so have at it.
