Brill on the Boomers
Unsurprising that the epoch comes to a close following the elevation over the greatest smoldering dumpster fire Boomer of them all, who narrowly* defeated a member of the same cohort who was/wasn't a little better/worse. Different, though.
The 10% who now own everything and write all the rules managed to capture the anger of another 35%, and got a little help from Russia.
Hard copy showed up in the mail yesterday
Hoping folks here read this.
Something in there to fuel every fire of blame and rationalization. Well meaning folks “going along” as their prospects were being devoured. And now a new set of players, locked even more severely on the outside, certain that they are going to be rewarded for their anonymous allegiance.
And of what the destiny of the 90 or so % really is, short of some sort of miracle.
Re: Brill on the Boomers
FBI agent Skousen warned us what was going to happen 55 years ago. I use this as a baseline and pretty much all 45 have come to fruition in one form or another. Boomers were indoctrinated by leftist professors on those 45 goals who went on to wittingly or unwittingly implement them...and now here we are.
Current Communist Goals EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Thursday, January 10, 1963 .
Why bother to read it when Sean, Rush, any number of Townhall minor leaguers can explain everything so clearly?
Having been raised in a politically active Republican household and entering adulthood as the conservative counterrevolution* was just gaining steam, I at least toyed with every one of the current concepts that have gained orthodoxy in the present dayGOP. Really didn't start to move away from it until it became apparent that Newt and Co. did not hold the moral or intellectual high ground that they pretended to. And then utterly and completely with growing discomfort over the disingenuous of the Rove/GWB regime and the lies over Iraq and subsequent botch job.
But I share some of the responsibility for this.
*the Post WWII New Deal order was, in fact, tired and rigid at that point. Ripe for the taking.
