You f***'n idiot, 3020, there are/were good medical reasons not to do an organ transplant on someone who wouldn't get vaccinated.  In the course of the transplant, the patient's immune is deliberately suppressed with drugs.  Anyone infected with covid in that condition would almost certainly die of covid.  Their only chance is to develop some immunity to covid (by vaccination) before the operation and hope their residual immunity provides enough protection.   To not vaccinate a transplant patient first would be ethically negligent as well as a waste of an organ.
