Chris Matthews see the light.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/media/2013/05/chris-matthews-sours-on-obama-164095.html Well, I don`t expect to see him at any NRA rallies or cookouts for Steve King, but at least he`s catching on at the unbecoming aloofness of the overbearing commander-in-chief.

IF he really said that--which I really wish he would--the rightwingers would go ballistic!

Re: Fictional proposal...
Thats funny Bruce. The thing is, it isnt "Washington" that hates 0bama, they are his biggest fans, oh and those that live in places like Iowa City frequent establishments on Hennepin Avenue. Obama shouldve at least tried to get along with the "opposition" for one thing leave guns alone....period. with obamacare, drop it when there isnt bipartison support. Maybe Obama gets off on his comic book socialist image, but someone really shouldve taken him aside, perhaps a Dale Carnegy course? Reagan was the only president that could work with the opposition and 'disagree without being disagreeable', Reagan went directly to the people and won them over. Obama is like the mother that straps us to the high chair and forces us to eat all the vegetables we dont like. Perhaps as his reverend says "the chickens have come home to roost".

Re: Fictional proposal...
As I've said dozens of times here BA, I'm no Obama fan or knee jerk defender of this Bill Clinton wannabee act of his, but I'm quite sure that you have a really bad, emotional investment driven read on all of this "scandal" business and how it going to play out for all of the various pointer outers and squablers.
Sane Republicans all over the place are wincing in unison over what they see as irreversably ascending to become the permanent face (of what remains) of their Party.

Re: Fictional proposal...
Its none of my business, but I'll bet you voted twice for Obama even though you werent thrilled with him especially the second time. I voted for GWB twice, the second time was more voting against Kerry. So it could be said Obama is to you what GWB is to me. That said if there was an election tomorrow, GWB vs Obama I would happily campaign and vote for GWB as I' m sure you would Obama. See its that "middle ground" that if a candidate could tap into, Ron Paulesque. That middle ground that I would hope we all could basically agree on. In the 1970s,1980s,1990s things werent that bad, were they? We went to school, we worked, we bought houses, we started and raised families. Its true gays couldnt get married or go in the Army, we were still rich and big enough to ' kick the can on immigration' you could still buy a gun at K-Mart, why cant we go back and built a Ford or Chevy that would still last 10 yrs like it should?

Re: Fictional proposal...
I am doing my part to help conservatives win...having kids. If the rest of conservative America can do the same thing, and if our elected representatives don't cave on border security, and if the 60 and up generation that voted 2-1 for the lousy candidate Romney can stay alive, there might be hope yet for America.

Re: Chris Matthews see the light.
Obama is a good reason why the founding fathers did not want the president of the USA selected by direct popular vote.
If Obama does not fit the definition of "demagogue", nobody does.
