Climate Change, a trojan horse

Lots of things hidden in that horse.

If we want to keep cities safe in the face of climate change, we need to seriously question the idea...

the ideals of the American dream that have been instilled for more than 150 years will be difficult to dispel. Those ideals have blinded us to other possibilities. Given the scope and scale of the climate crisis, it is shocking that we are being presented with so few serious, comprehensive alternatives for how to live. We need another kind of escape route—away from our ideologies of ownership and property, and toward more collective, healthy, and just cities.

You can bet the "believers" will still have their big houses. Of course by that time property taxes will be a thing of the past.

Rather it is a straw man to suggest that acknowledging things such as water, air, the biosphere as common property is an assault on private property.

Although dumping #### anywhere at no cost is a part of that American Way of Life that is said to be non-negotiable.

And he knows it. Deflection. Very poor attempt at that. Dems want to take not only your guns, jobs, and health care, they now want to take your private property.
