Can't accurately predict a snowstorm 24 hours in advance. Why would anyone believe they can accurately predict the temp 100 years in advance?

Since almost nobody really believes that there aren't effects to climate from CO2 and the cheap stuff is running out anyway, here is how it isw going to play.

We'll have carbon controls but they'll be privatized to the multinational corporations- sort of like the Farm Bill writ large.

Vasty sums already being mobilized and laundered through the Kochs and others for the effort. However it is important to their effort that you continue to believe what you do.

I'm all for you if you're really willing to accept the sharp reduction in your own wealth that is owed primarily to the exhorbitant privelege conferred on those living inside the bubble.

In reality we don't have much choice or say in the matter and the next big step down is probably somewhat nigh.  At which point I'm guessing we'll probably be less, rather than more, free.
