Congratulations Canuck_2,

I believe congratulations are in order to Canuck_2.  He was able to deflect and change the discussion about the debt now in the hands of the Democrats by a diversion about a minuscule part of the budget.

His obfuscation of the problem was masterful and many fell for it.

We aren't talking about one tiny segment (farmers) or about socialism I specifically was asking why the Democrats now in power aren't doing anything about a problem they have identified.

What or who was in charge previously isn't part of the discussion, though for 8 years I believe the Democrats had pretty free reign for their desires.  But let's not digress, they are once again in a position to do something constructive about the debt.  There's no need to single out any one group.

No need to sidestep or divert the discussion and no need for a foreign operative to interject their opinion.

Why aren't the Democrats doing anything for the American people?  Why are they helping run the country deeper in debt and doing so at the expense of the middle class and the poor?

Re: Congratulations Canuck_2,

Why does it bother you that someone from another country might comment?

Did you know that sometimes the best solutions come from someone not directly involved? since they see things without 'blinders'

Why would you not want to look at each segment?

It is taking each segment separately that will find solutions as looking at the whole picture obscures where the financial drain is.

Of course if you want to get ahead of a deficit one solution is to take in more income.

At present your tax rate is much lower than it used to be, especially for the rich.

And that is what I was pointing out how a drain to capitalist farmers has to be paid by consumers who are also being 'taxed' with higher costs from the tariffs.

The tariff tax is proportionally much higher on the poor than it is on the rich

Therefore it seems fair to say that the poor have to pay for the socialist payments to farmers who are wealthy capitalists who do not want to just live on the markets but want others to make up the difference when prices go bad from the tariff war which the consumers did not want and are paying for too.

Re: Congratulations Canuck_2,

and since we are talking about wasting money .............. the Trump administration is asking Congress for funds to reimburse the Taliban for travel expenses incurred during peace talks.......... can't they use some of their own money , out of their own budget , maybe instead of buying weapons and ammunition that kills and wounds our military persons ......

It's these statements that I find so comical.   Oh my sides....this from the one that thinks a few comments by Russians on Facebook was election interference. Lolololol....

Oh and the reason the original poster made such statement regarding you, is that they want a sincere discussion.  You're loyalty exists in a foreign nation. Thus, unless you admit to be treasonous there, your loyalty is not to the United States.

And no, your biased statements here can't throw our election.  But for reasons stated above, are not sincere.

I’m sure they shared it

with their producer and contract feeder Patriot American Farmers, so maybe it was just a “pass through”.
