Curious George on the Tube, Tonight

I happened to see "The One" on the tube, tonight.... Saying that he is going to have all the surge soldiers home, just before election day.

Right after the election, the Al-Queda management will set up shop again.... and the beat goes on.....

Our mission in Afghanistan was to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden. That mission has been accomplished. There is nothing more we can do there. The people who live there are not much more than animals. You can beat the crap out of them and make them mind for a little while but they are still animals. As soon as we leave, no matter when that is, they go back to doing what animals have done since the big bang, survival of the fittest. Bring the troops home, every last one of them, tomorrow.

If they are the rabid animals as you say, then you have to deal with them in such a fashion.  Why don't our special forces take some very nasty substance, say, .... typhus, and inject it into the water headlands up in the mountains, and let it do its business as the water goes down to their thirsty mouths to drink?  Germs are the cheapest, easiest, fastest way to exterminate a major problem.... always has been, always will.

Everyone knows that within a short period of time after the US pulls out, the enemy will start a new rebuild program and will hit us or Europe with another major attack....maybe next time, with some of Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's nuclear material.

Famous epilogue ending line from the H.G. Wells adaptation, "The War of The Worlds" :

"The Martians had no resistance to the bacteria in our atmosphere to which we have long since become immune. Once they had breathed our air, germs, which no longer affect us, began to kill them. The end came swiftly. All over the world, their machines began to stop and fall. After all that men could do had failed, the Martians were destroyed and humanity was saved by the littlest things, which God, in His wisdom, had put upon this Earth."

My god! Craig, your insane!

Re: Maybe So.....

Can't happen.

If you killed all the "enemies" on the cheap there would be nothing to spend money on and the economy would collapse.
