As Wes Clark has recently said, the (Israeli sponsored, my factual addition) neocons had begun plans for regime change in 7 ME countries before 9/11. 

Iraq ended up being much less of a cakewalk than anticipated and slowed things down considerably (hey what's a miss of a couple $trilion and a few thousand lives).

The strategy continues regrdless of change in administration.

The only candidate who has expressly indicated that he will change anything is Ron Paul.  Which is one of the reasons that RP won't be President but still he is the best protest vote availalble.

About your VN experience, Gordon Duff had a good piece about his experiences at Veterans Today a few weeks ago. As he said, our VN forces might have actually been the best the US has ever fielded at least until morale collapsed in the last couple of years.

I don't know where you got it that the US saved our behind.  To my knowledge, their has always been a treaty called  ANZUS whereby we fight together.  Your efforts in Darwin were much appreciated in 1942 and it cemented an alliance with the US.  But don't go mentally roaming thinking you saved us.  You are unaware of what took place. We are currently fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan because you asked us to enter the war.  If your mob are so good, why would you want our little army? So who is saving who's ass there?

 I am at a loss why you think I am some dastardly alien who deliberately scorns all things american.  If you read me a little closely I have a propensity to tell the truth about the US.  This is not always forthcoming on this forum and a little correct perspective doesn't hurt any one, does it?   Some one with a big gob said they won the Vietnam war.  Nothing could be further from the truth and that is the sort of incorrect statements that need correcting, everytime.   You guys tend to be deliberately forgetful when it comes to your war successes.

Here we go again.  All you are p=ssed off about is how I correct the little white lies told by the wannabes on here.

You have no idea what I feel about Liberal governments let alone if I enjoy big or small.  That is typical stereotyping because you cannot hack it.  Should I accept you are a "rich" person because you attempted to reflect  you are with your assumption I bludge on the government.  That is not true.   Why do you think all dem voters are parasites when you, in my opinion, have accepted a little socialism by taking benefits from the governments.  No matter how small it is, it is socialism, nonetheless comrade.  I can now hear cries of Nooooooooooooooo but think again.  just a little assistance with cheap gas, hospital benefits or something like that.  If so, that is socialism.
