Denniger has been prolific re: health policy

Keeps beating on the costs drum and how tweaking or repeal won't get to the heart of the situation.

It has been interesting following his entries and hiss consistent narrative. Sam put one up here the other day that drew a blank. As will this one:

the bill in that form is not a very good one, obviously, and needs further input. That should come, and this time, maybe the party in charge will not be so obstinate as to not entertain any of the opposition parties ideas and concerns.

I think we still end up with a two tiered system, no matter how egalitarian people would like to think medical care should be. There is really no limit on how much money can be spent , and in a free market system, it is hard to tell wealthy people they cannot spend their own money to prolong or enhance their lives.

Karl's advice won't be followed until the people and the country are too broke to carry on.    Till then we'll just finance the excess.

Death panels OK now then?

So much has switched lobbies and caucuses.

I have already had to deal with, and bypass, the Obama death panel. Maybe you will be

lucky enough to not have to deal with Trump's version. If you are going to have people deciding on who gets care and who has care withheld, at least keep a private system in place for those that don't want to

go that route. Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mao Tse Tung got defeated in November. They had their own ideas on how to deal with populations, too.
