Disapproval of The Current President

It seems to be hanging around the 48-53 level in various surveys and polls.

Does anyone have an opinion on what the breakdown might be tallying default disapproving Right Wingers/Republicans/“conservatives” and the number of liberals/Democrats/progressives that are addled by the slow pace of progress and action on numerous matters.

The Presidents party does at least have some planks and policy objectives. His opposition has none, other than we are not Him…not Them.

What will 2 years do to change or cure that?

Rueters on election day showed 57% overall disapproval:

Democrats: Approve 75% Disapprove 17%

Republicans: Approve 11% Disapprove 84%

Independents: Approve 28% Disapprove 72%

Didn't say how many of each category were polled.

Thanks for responding.

Curious as to who polled it. It’s got a nice Rasmussen, Trafalgar, Real Clear Politics ring to it.

But yeah, those 17% disapproving Democrats and and also thinking a growing chunk of the independents might add up to quite a few.

Re: Disapproval of The Current President

Will there be a "two years from now"? I mean as far as elections. There`s elections in China and Russia/Soviet Union so is that`s what it will morph into? Good people are older and will die (and not remember the way things can be) younger people are stupid and overwhelming the electorate. So, the days of "this will be the most important election of our lifetime!" is all in our rearview mirror.

Re: Disapproval of The Current President

If been at the front, in the middle of and behind about 5 or 6 generations depending on how you count and where you start counting from and best I remember is that there has always been an extreme level of assuredness that “younger people are stupid” around.

Are you watching….

….this Vikings game?

Holy cow.

Not a big pro football fan but have a habit of starting to pay attention at Thanksgiving and if they are in contention to make the playoffs climb on the bandwagon.

Might should have waited until Thanksgiving again this year, but 8-1 was a bit alluring.

Re: Disapproval of The Current President

Well, what`s going on now isn`t "Socrates commenting of rude behavior by young people at the forum" or "flappers doing the Charleston, coonskin coats and 23 skidoo!". This country has figured out how to ride in the wagon and anyone dumb enough to be pulling the wagon be damned.

No, "this time is different", even the hoodlums in the 1970s with their "Easyrider Dennis Hopper, Peter Fonda...Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Mandingo, Weathermen, Simbonese Army, Patty Hearst" . We came back from that, because the young people still had traditional values deep down, they didn`t cut their dïcks off and pretend to be women. Democrats have a perpetual "blank check" by the majority of voters.

I really hate to say it, but if I don`t get grandchildren, I will breathe a sigh of relief. The Bible says in end times, people will pray that a mountain falls on them and we are about there.

Your mistake is Rick, you think by getting rid of those with calloused hands and the risktakers whose car is first in the parking lot in the morning and last in the parking lot in the evening you will somehow achieve your utopia. It`s when the hope of a better future is gone that society devolves and you won`t be immune. Even those who isolate themselves in some sort of "Baptist/Mennonite" religious community, still their children have to navigate a exponentially sinful world.

In a world without guys like this, all your money printing, legalizing marijuana, taking guns away, making rights for the LQBLTASAPPBR+++++ freakazods .... who`s gonna unplug the toilets?

my kids are young enough to be grandkids for me, and I can tell the influence of public education on them already as they are exposed to gross liberals and get off color humor in short order.

Why are the fruitloops so gross?
