I live in one of the poorest communities in the country.  It's very sad to see generations of people who are stuck in the welfare system and have no idea how or desire to get out.  Kids having kids.  Grandmothers at the age of 30.  High crime, illiteracy, rampant drug and alcohol abuse.  It's the norm here for a large percentage of our population.  Kids grow up knowing the system that their mothers and grandmothers have been living under so that's how they will live too.  Notice how I say mothers and grandmothers.  Fathers are nothing but sperm donors in the welfare system so they don't count.  It's terrible because there's no incentive to do better.  I don't make anything up.  You need to spend some real time in areas of the country like this.  You would see what your tax dollars, your "charitable contribution" as you call them, are doing for people.  The problem is that people like you won't spend much time in these areas.  You will realize they are dangerous.  You made a wrong turn and you need to get the h*ll out of there.

Yep, as much as the Leftists try to deny it....Statistics Do NOT Lie.   Genetics do matter as well, look at every country in Africa and how it is run.  People with arms and legs hacked off with machetes, HIV virus as thick as mosquitoes.
