Ebola

I know this Ebola thing is nothing to be taken lightly and it also has the possibility to disrupt or destroy many things including the markets including commodities and financials, but I just don't care to read about it on an agricultural discussion board.  Seems like nearly every thread in the marketing section eventually ends up on the Ebola topic.

Re: Ebola

For the sake of simplicity seems a lot easier to respond to one thread as opposed to creating an entirely new thread.

Re: Ebola

I thought about that Nigel, but I was curious if a fresh thread would catch more contributors.

Re: Ebola

That makes sense...actually since I have been here (maybe two weeks) seems a little organization is needed.  I noticed a lot of threads could be consolidated into one thread.  Seems that a number of people just start threads without looking to see if there is an existing one already.

Re: Ebola

lol....the Community Manager needs to send HedgeFundFarmer an email...on this page alone he has started 4 different threads on ebola...laughable...

Re: Ebola

When mt or jenny bring their egos to the threads and decide that the thread is too small for them we get new threada

Re: Ebola

89-with all due respect, there are others that fall into that category, not just the two you mentioned.

Re: Ebola

Our government has been pathetic on controlling ebola. ..a huge disappointment so far. I hope they realize they and their loved ones could end up with it if they don't step up like they are supposed to do

Re: Ebola

If it's that bad why doesn't Congress appoint a permanent Surgeon General ??? He would have over 6,000 medical personel to call up and assign. And he could be #1 in describing the situation and the response required by the US and its citizens. It is a military position.

You, for one, need to be informed as to the true nature of the situation.

By the way, what response do you want? More troops in Africa? What? How can you be disappointed if you don't know what is required?

Re: Ebola

If the french and english understand how to keep it out of there countries don't see why we can't figure it out.
