I still do not understand Tesla, Elon Musk’s business model, its stock market price levels, and anyone who would ever buy the seemingly (to me, at least) overpriced vehicles.

Same, same for Sam Bankman Fried, FTX, the Winklevos twins, and crypto currency, but I repeat myself.

$60, $70, $80,000, that's the equivalent of a good year's salary just to have something to ride to work in & haul grass clippings to the dump.

  We paid $22K for a new EV which only costs 55 cents per gallon of equivalent fuel.

I am just confessing that I have never understood the entire EV market. Judging by yesterday’s reported Tesla profits, however, I’d say it must work for a whole lot of folks. Clearly, they are in your camp and not in mine.
