Policy five years ago- $1000 ded. with a $1,000,000 cap with prescription coverage. Today $750 ded. prescription coverage and I have no clue if it has a cap or not because nobody will tell me. But i guess it will pay off if I want to become a girl and it wouldn't do that five years ago so I guess it's better huh?

The cap was one of the outstanding issues of the ACA. Insurance couldn't just cancel your insurance when you hit their "cap" on a problem. My son would have been out on his own, 5 years ago it that had happened, he's only 48.

Here's what I have paid for health care, since 2004.  And, what I will pay this year.  These figures I have easily at my fingertips - beyond this, I would have to do some digging:

There it is....my health care costs (insurance) for the last 12+ years.  Notice the 2017.  It's what I was saying all along during the election - and why, what Trump was saying to get people all pissed off, was a lie.  Maybe a few were affected.  But telling people, that EVERYONE'S HEALTH CARE WAS GOING UP, and you would be paying 3 - 4 times what you were paying, was a lie.  3.5% of the nation have Obamacare, then figuring in their discounts, doesn't jive with the tale that our so called president was telling.  And it still doesn't.  My health care last year went up the least, that it did in all but 2 of the previous years.  And the largest increases?  Guess what...under GW.  Surprise, Surprise.

Republicans show you what's in their hand, and do the disappearing trick with the other.  Why in the world do you believe the crap these guys put out?

I know the "cap" was a problem. But don't you think it should be up to the consumer on what his/her cap should be?  The other thing is why do the insurance companies always want to say on the bill it's "above the customary charge"  for an operation but then approve $50 for a tylanol pill. The whole thing is a big scam and the Govt. just made it worse.

Since 1980, the Republican party has been stretching the truth. It got really bad in 2000, but suddenly since Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, Alec Jones, and Fox socallednews, and now Donald Trump, there is nothing that they can say that can be believed, They must be questioned and fact checked at every thing they say! Lord help us if anything serious occurs on this crackpots watch!

You want to trust the insurance company to work in your best interest?  Really?  Wow...you haven't had to deal with much in health care, have you.

Leaving it up to the people, who see a million dollars as a never obtainable goal, it the problem.  Because with something serious, it doesn't take long to go over that, and then, again, the rest of us get to pay for you.  

You want easy answers...there are none.  If there were, they would've been utilized a long time ago.

You must remember, as I have been saying all day, that your problem with insurance is only shared by a small portion of you.  I'm not complaining about my insurance...most of America isn't.  

Put this one under the rule:  The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few.  

Good planning by some of your farm groups may have prevented this....maybe you should go bitch at them....
