Yes I have had to deal with them alot due to my wife's health problems....I know the game well. Everybody is making boatloads of money.

ok. Make it a $50,000,000 cap.  But did you read what you typed?   "the rest of us get to pay for you"  That's how insurance works isn't it? Only the insurance companies get to handle the money for a small (tee hee) carrying charge. You want the govt. to handle the money. How has that worked out in the past?

There has to be some kind of cap just like any other insurance. If your camper burns you really don't expect a Prevost bus to replace it do you?

Those in the plan, yes.  That's correct Rawhide.  THOSE IN THE PLAN.  And THAT's the difference, and it's a huge difference.  Those of us in the plan, are sharing the cost, and the risk.  It's not like someone without insurance, or not enough, going to the emergency room, know that they WILL HAVE TO BE TREATED, and then all of us pay for that.

Can you see the difference?   My plan's costs are reasonable, because we were all FORCED TO PAY INTO IT at a young age, and FORCED TO CARRY IT until we retired.  If you quit or were fired - you lost that option to carry it, and your retirement, into your actual retirement.

The key was to GET EVERYONE TO CONTRIBUTE EARLY IN THEIR CAREER.  And, since you couldn't be 50 and get hired, the pool wasn't diluted with older, sicker people.  Sorry...maybe I got lucky.  Like I said, many of us didn't realize when we first got hired, how good of a deal it was.  And it is.  But, there is a reason that it is....

I have paid into health insurance for 40 years and have been to a hospital once. And I paid every dime of that myself due to the deductable. I am one of the lucky ones and am truly greatful. Can you tell me why if I have paid in for 40 years and not used the system that now it's soak the hell out of him time?

Agree some of the R's appear to be stupid and should be eliminated, But there is no way they compare to the stupidity of every single Dem.

Eliminated....you like that word? Is that why you like this so called president - hoping he too will eliminate all those you don't like?

You have used that phrase several times. America, as of now, isn't like the country, and leader that our so called president admires so much. Another on here, has offered to help with the crack down of the "opposition".

This is NOT the America that I grew up in. You think, that "eliminating" those you don't like, (your hope) that it is done by a crack down by our government. I'm sorry - this isn't Russia, yet. But under this administration, who knows, with Russia's help, what may be possible.

Yeah - like subsidized crop insurance, or how about the safety net, of disaster payments on top of the crop insurance, so all get to partake of the "kill".

When he says that it is remindful of what has been going on in The Philipenes under the current leadership there. Summary elimination of opponents.

A rather concerted effort.  With the people's legislative branch helpless to stop it. 

In contrast to that, the outside edge wings in our Congress stymied the radicals, somehow posing as and being depicted somehow as being the moderates from moving the nation in a fascist direction. Not necessarily  in agreement on why, but fearing the same monster. Encouraging in itself, before or  without doing all the dissecting.
