Explanation of how CO2 works

This is a good explanation go how the small % of CO2 in the atmosphere has such a large impact on earth.

The scientists who first identified carbon dioxide’s importance for climate in the 1850s were also surprised by its influence. Working separately, John Tyndall in England and Eunice Foote in the United States found that carbon dioxide, water vapor and methane all absorbed heat, while more abundant gases did not.

Scientists had already calculated that the Earth was about 59 degrees Fahrenheit (33 degrees Celsius) warmer than it should be, given the amount of sunlight reaching its surface. The best explanation for that discrepancy was that the atmosphere retained heat to warm the planet.

I thought it was interesting to help understand how our universe works. To see how much colder it would be with no CO2 impact and how they used that knowledge to figure out what was the reason we had the climate we do.

So you guys just ignore science and keep believing.

So it's not man. And without CO2 we all freeze to death. And the extreme cold winters are not because of too much CO2.

Not much sense 'playing' when the others ignore what was said and just make up stuff that does not even make sense.

Good info in the article about how CO2 works to keep our little planet habitable but of course some can not comprehend what it explains.
