No   I had a pretty rough case of it in november.   I have strong antibodies.......

Speak with your Dr. but I believe I’d still get it as far I understand the current guidance.

But don’t know that I’d be in a hurry to jump the line in front of granny and chemo patients.

Agree bruce.

we will get the vaccine as soon as it is available for us but we are able to stay out of circulation and think it makes greater use to vaccinate those on the 'front lines' first.

Someone has to make the decision on who gets it first and I will not argue as long as they do not give it to rich or athletes before all medical workers, teachers, bus drivers etc get it.

As for the people who 'have had it' and think they do not need a vaccine I don't think the science backs that up. The vaccine is still recommended as a better immunity than some of those who thought they were infected.

I think the science is starting to catch up to suggest that immunity from prior infection probably is fairly durable. But there are more than a few confirmed cases of reinfection.

And the other side of that is that the risk from the vaccine is micro-miniscule.

Worry about getting struck by lightning in January before that.

A prison study is the best data available and the earliest case of reinfection was 90 days, the median something like 200.

And it is not common, but most definitely occurs.
