To your point regarding citizenship and the Constitution, I believe that we may align in thought.  

Citizenship and what is provided for by such status is different than unalienable rights that one has by birth.  

Citizenship is based on the Constitutional requirements as defined.  

And I fully agree that children of citizens of other countries are not granted rights of US citizenship based on geographical location of birth.

This is why we need strict Constitutionalist on the supreme court. If the court decides fee speech is not free but hate speech, you don't have the right to keep and bear arms, or you must provide birth control even if it is against your religious beliefs, then it could also say the 14 amendment has no meaning.
