Hey Canuck, we are all to blame, we wanted to shop at Wallymart or in your case Candian Tire instead of the local department store and local hardware store. Those `big box` stores shop the entire world for the cheapest `pink flamingos` and we shut down the "Ertl toy factories" ship those factories to another country...sure we get cheaper toys and the Ertl company makes record profits with that decision, however the USA ends up with a service-based economy with very few "living wage" jobs. I`m currently listening to part 1 and yet have heard them mention "free trade" and doubt that they will mention it. And if they don`t they are not getting to the root of the problem(I will listen to the rest later). Democrats love to blame "Republican deregulation, low taxes, capital gains taxes..ect" but that is like blaming a cough and runny nose when the patient is suffering from pneumonia. I agrued with liberals and conservatives when Clinton and Rush were touting NAFTA when they ran out of how wonderfull that "$5 shirts" are they would say "well, if Mexicans have factories, they won`t come here!", now mind you this was the mid-90`s...what has happened to illegal immigration since? You know, I`m getting damned sick and tired of always being right
