Re: For Republicans

Be wary of what you wish for. You just might get it. Hillary has run out of southern states alhough she may well pull it out of the bag. Accep we are now moving into the industrial north which may well be to bernies advantage. We just may see the michigan phenomenon reflected in OHIO Pennsylvania Ilinois Missouri that are all winner take all states. Suddenly american labor may just take interest in the pro labor guy. Why should they dance with hiliary with credentials that are somewhat questionable after all the trade agreement she has supported?

For sure I may be overly positive as Hillary has strong association with the black community and the women folks. But Bernie is muchstronger on their pocketbook issues and may sway alot of public opinion.

BTW Bernie has a positive outcome in the polls facing any and all republican opponents if that means anything to you.

Re:So you say!

I think actual behavior is a more powerful arguement regardless of what your interpetation of scripture is. A lot of folks read the bible daily and act like 'something else" in real life.

A famous quote that used to be used frequently on these pages. " Don't tell me you are a christian. Let me figure that out myself!"                 If I could remember the author's name, I certainly would give him credit.

Re: For Republicans

Well, this is the final showdown at the OK Corral.  If it`s Trump and he loses to her, the stories will be spun some bull crap like "hate has lost, the people have spoken and rejected hate..nana nana boo boo"  If Trump wins, it will be spun as "disappointing but the results are that the people really want both parties to work together"  Now that Trump is on the road to being the nominee, the stakes are very high that he not lose being as the bridges are burnt behind him.

But that is okay, at some point the 2 toughest kids on the playground are going to have to fight it out, I hope Trump wins because I don`t relish giving up my milk money for the rest of my school days.

Re: Re:So you say!

That is true Don, but someone that ejects God...I don`t see how they would win God`s favor. It`s kind of a big deal, but I am not judging Sanders, it`s between him and the Big Guy.

Re: Re:So you say!

Well sir, if it is between bernie and the big guy, why did you bring it up. I suspect you righties are tryng to sell your religious credentials to confirm your validity. Like a holy BA is more credible than a heathen Don?

Boy you folks have a superiority complex!

Re: For Republicans

Curious as to where you can make 90K teaching school?

i know a few dozen of them and I'm certain that more than just a few of them might be interested in relocating.

Re: For Republicans

We have close friends who live in a northern metro suburb in a neighborhood that is heavily populated by evangelicals. Near a couple of conservative liberal arts colleges, at which a number of them are employed.  As well as Red's new hero, the editor of Conservative icon Glen Taylor's once liberal Mpls. Startribune.

They tell us that those conservative Christains are repulsed by Trump...and curiously intrigued by Sanders.

But it I suppose just an anecdote.......My apologies to BA and wehav for treading on their domain.

Re: Re:So you say!

I think we are trying to elect a president not to get them into heaven. If you want to elect a saint, you better seach for mother theresa.

I tell you what Don...

.....this place is such a cornucopia of spectacular information.

A couple of days ago we learn from one of the Steve King/Joni Ernst constituents that Conscientiou Objector status is sought out and reviewed BFORE conscription, in peacetime, mind you.

And now, another that public school teachers make $90,000.  Our daughter teaches in the highest paying school district in the State of Minnesota. Been there 17 years since starting there, right out of college.  Inner-city urban high school.  Holds a Masters Degree. She's tracked herself to a bit over 50K.

Dang, a person really can't help from coming back here to enrich oneself with just how much of the "just know" stuff he's been living in the dark without.  Probably should get credits from ISU or from one of those Reformed private colleges.
