Re: So what happened?
Hobby, the whole issue of women`s pay is phoney just to gin up liberal votes in the coming mid-term election.
Here watch Washinton Week at about 6:30 Amy Watler (not exactly a conservative) says the Dems need to get women to turn out in November. And this phoney wage issue is designed to do that. Make Republicans "look bad" for not supporting a bill that would actually hurt business and women by ultimately forcing women to actually do EQUAL work to get that equal pay (hourwise) force business to open their books for their competition to see.

It's too bad you can't pick up on sarcasm. Have you EVER seen a woman with high heels and a halter top setting concrete form? The one who don't respect women are those who think they will get their votes because of this phony sexist issue.

Re: Did a little research
That would raise another question: How would you enforce another law, that says the same thing?
Rallying for a law that already exists, and is likely 'unenforcable' seems that it would be more a political ploy, than an attempt at any meaningful reform.
Do you have any reason why there should be another law that says the same thing, other than for political purposes?

Ahh, but if you do the same thing in the private industry, they do, too.

Re: Did a little research
Well averaging men and women wages is exactly how the phoney .77 figure was come up for the REST of the country. Shouldn't the whitehouse be held to the same standard?????
