So when Trump crisscrossed the U.S. damning NAFTA as a failure, he created aproblem for U.S. agriculture that had previously never existed.

But, it was removed before I was able to access it and post it on here.  Apparently, someone didn't want you farmers to see what was written in this article.

Basically, what it was saying, that since Trump took office, exports of American products to Mexico were already taking a hit.....the article naming specifically the export of corn, beans, and chickens.

From what I remember of the article, chicken exports were down 15%, corn and beans exports were down 10 - 12%, but I can't remember the exact figures.  

So - you think that starting a trade war with nations around the globe aren't going to come back to haunt you guys that "Love your President"?   You were fools - history is about to be written about the next major farm crisis, with excess production, and foreign customers who will be sourcing their needs from other countries who aren't so hostile to trade, and wanting a trade war.  

The interesting part....is who forced the article to be deleted shortly after it hit the wire, and, of course, why?  You farmers are going to LOSE - and lose in a big way.

I'm glad I'm out.  I sold at the right time.   Last one out, turn off the lights.....

I had to sanitize this for printing here.....but I thought that it should appear on the marketing page.  I have been afraid all along that what our current president was doing, was going to cost American farmers big.  And I think it will.  Question is - how long before the truth on this one really comes out?  And the longer it goes on, what will be the consequences when the truth is finally known.  Tick Tock, indeed.....

The facts MT, were in the article, which was deleted within an hour after it was posted.  I saw it shortly after it was put online on my ipad, had a couple of chores to do and was going to post it before I went to bed.  An hour later, when I went to look it up on the computer, it was gone.

It's what the article said.  I'm sorry I didn't have the article to post.  But the bigger question for me is why was it deleted and by whom?   The article was fairly lengthy.....and I'm just citing the main just of what it was saying.

10-15% 5 months in. If I lived in Mexico - or anywhere else in the world for that matter - I would be looking to source stuff from anywhere but the US.

As a country, we were not well liked on the world scene before our present administration, and like far less now as we, supposedly the richest country on Earth, want even more of "our fair share".

Put yourself in other county's shoes, looking at us. What would you be thinking?

America is like the BTO next door - everything looks great, until it isn't. We are the BTO of the world. And we think we can make the world bow to our demands. Good luck with that.....

When our largest market, right next door, starts sourcing their needs from someone else because we ticked them off, it is a VERY BIG DEAL, and the longer your eyes are blinded to that fact, the worse the pending crisis is going to be.

With a two billion bushel surplus - and more on the way probably, you're good with losing our market share anywhere in the world? US farmers can't afford losing a market share anywhere. And once lost, what will it take to get these buyers back - if ever?

I felt wronged once a long time ago buying a truck from Chevrolet. They had my market share for life. I've not stepped into a Chevy dealer for almost 40 years since - and probably never will.

You guys are playing with fire. And you're going to get burned.
