Re: Frustration with DC teabaggers

The recent clean out of the remainder of Rahm's little nest of vipers should be seen as a welcome occurence by nearly everybody. The Democrats who I put more stock in than the others seem pleased with the idea of Daly. Gov. Dean was speaking well of him yesterday I see.

Maybe some helpful actions will at least be onsidered. But who knows how much action is even possible to try...from any of the guys that either you or I like or hate. The tentacles of the plutoctopus are many and long.

The Atlanitc article you put up show us that to the PTB, everything is just fine. And they've got the strings on any action.

Re: Frustration with DC teabaggers

In two years, very little to nothing will have changed in the Swamps of Virginia and the desire for change will grow.   The '08 elections was won by attracting many new voters and with promises that have not been honored, which resulted in losing the last election.

The stupid stupid D vs R game glee club's cheering section is babbling about the election being a great victory, and the other cheering section babbling about imaginative images  of the Tea Party Monster.  It's all sound and fury, nothing has actually happened yet, they are way ahead of themselves, just typical propaganda to keep the flocks bleating and squawking  .   Whatever the true makeup of the so-called tea party, the truth was lost when the media turned it into a circus, it's going to take time before the smoke and lies clears enough to fully understand.

The people who want change are going to be larger and angrier next election, how many of them will have stopped believing in politicians promises?  One thing is certain the same cheer leaders will still be be parroting phrases which signify nothing

You might as well get busy, Craig. They are already lost.

Re: Actually....

Who do you really think this sh*t plays to, your friend Oily? Trust me it only strengthens the resolve on the left. Your bigotry, and racism is only eclipsed by your ego.

Well Bruce the CBO sez well over $1 trillion costs.  Probably a heck of a lot more with all the tweeking it will need.

How does that compare with the costs involved in treating people with NO insurance?

Re: Frustration with DC teabaggers

Bruce, Obamacare is backloaded with expenses making confusing to put the true costs on it, that was done on purpose.  It`s also laden with hidden taxes, tricky bookwork was used to put the square pegs into round holes. For example this 1099 debacle is a deparate dash for cash to cover true expenses.  As those gimmicks are trimmed Obamacare can`t stand.

Would that be this same CBO?

Bruce, I didn't check the huffpo link. Did it figure in the medicare/medicaid doctor "fix"? The original CBO numbers did not. They also admitted that years 5-15 were going to look much worse than the first 10 year period which is what they scored.
