Another convention rule.
in order to be nominated a candidate needs to have won the majority of delegates in 8 states.
So much for shoe horsing Kasich in. You get Trump or Cruz.

Re: GOP conveniton policies
Can't any of you brilliant folks get it through your thick skulls--the question is NOT what their policies ARE!! The question is WHY would the party of open carry by everyone, everywhere, not allow guns at the convention. It is not open to the public, only repubs with tickets will be allowed in. Security will be outside to make sure of that. SO WHY WOULD THEY DO IT????

Re: Another convention rule.
What is it that the brain dead repubs here are always complaining about? Oh yeah, the argument has always been, "yeah, but your side is worse than ours!" This always came after the left would make some disparaging remark about bush or one of the repubs in Congress. Well, this time, their side really is worse than the left's!! No one has said it yet but actually, Hillary must be the smartest gal in the world to have done all of those great robberies and told so many lies and been investigated by everyone including the Podunk Co. Sheriff's office and NOT A SINGLE thing has ever been proven except in the accessed minds of the rabid right.

They put that rule in for the last election. Now it has been changed. No longer applies.

Re: Another convention rule.
The proverbial "they" .some of my favorite people, as you hear so much about "them".
Have "they" done something in the past 3 days since this was published in one of you winger so it has to be true websites?:
http://www.newsmax.com/Politics/john-kasich-fazed-state-convention/2016/03/31/id/721721/
From what "they" are saying, I don't believe that those rules can be arbitrarily changed by any "they", other than by the assembled convention upon it's opening. So the "they" might be refering to must be some committee who might or might not take it to the assembly.
But then I suppose, seeing as they are xxxxing Republicans "they" could simply abdicate accountability. Follow the lead of Phil Gramm re: responsibility for the global financial crisis, circa 2008, or Cheney/Rumsfeld etal in composing the fabrications fed to Congress and the people of our nation to obtain a go ahead on the disaster in every respect that was the 2nd Iraq War.

Just like Al Capone
the only thing that the feds could make stick was income tax evasion.
