GOP has mandate to repeal Healthcare bill?

They better do it quick, and they better be ready to duck. Read the polls and weep. Not one of the five polls agrees with the Weeper of the House.

Re: GOP has mandate to repeal Healthcare bill?

I would like to see both sides of Congress work to improve the health care reform.  There are good parts of Dems plan worth keeping and some parts that might need to be redone or better thought out but to just attempt to repeal it without working to offer something better is simply stupid and short sighted.  I still would like to see more emphisis placed on trying to lower health care costs as that is still one of the biggest problems with health care in America.  Here in Iowa Wellmark Blue Cross just asked for a rate increase of 10.8% on top of last years 18% increase which they say are necessary because of higher health care costs.

Sure, does. And it makes Rush Limbaugh a fat a** liar. Yesterday, he claimed 24% of Democrats want Health Care Reform repealed. This article proves he can't be trusted to tell the truth, and anybody that listens to him or anyone on Faux news isn't worth listening to because they don't know what the truth is.

GTO, the poll that trumps all others is the one we had last November, if the people wanted the status quo  Pelsoi wouldn`t have had to give up the gavel.  As for liberals giving the GOP advice, it`s a little like the fox giving the chickens instructions on how to lock the henhouse door.

Re: GOP has mandate to repeal Healthcare bill?

Considering what you just wrote, think about this. If what you say is true, then the Presidents approval ratings should be in the toilet. They aren't his approval rating has been on the rise, it is not as you described. What the message the American people sent was, one more chance for the Republicans to prove their worth. They got a clear message last week, two Congress men voted 8 times and weren't sworn in, they spent $1.2 million on a political stunt to appease the natives, Boehner, when asked what programs he would cut, DIDN'T HAVE AN ANSWER! He's had 8 weeks to think about it, but he doesn't' know. Just more of what the American people rejected in '08. If this wasn't so dangerous, it'd be hilarious!
