I started watching the previous seasons a couple of months back, but I still need to finish season 7. At the same time, I watched all the season 8 episodes, including the finale. I try not to over think the show. It's really entertaining and I'm sorry it's over, but then again, I didn't follow it for all those years. I think in the end, the dragon made the best choice.
