GW Bush..."Miss me Yet?"
Got reminded of a little nostalgia during an exchange with Mr. Boris, and here it is....
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/09/miss-bush-billboard-leaves-minnesotans-puzzled/
I guess these billboards sprouted up in a number of places in MN during this time period, but I have to be honest and admit never seeing one personally.
And , for the record, I don't miss Bush unless I compare him to what has gone down since jr went back to Crawford ranching and big city barbecues and his painting.

Re: GW Bush..."Miss me Yet?"
I'm sure there are those who pine for those heady days when the constitution was overthrown in favor of a crony elite.
Anyway, that's what da boyz down at the coffee shop apparently think, they all kinda snort and nod when somebody throws that particular dog whistle out.
Best I can figure, they are under the mistaken impression that they are on the team, or maybe just happy that the lucre is going to rich people who deserve it rather than the teaming masses who are trying to climb the ladder past them.
BTW, one of the key events during the coup looms large in the current ebola situation. The still unsolved Amerithrax case (as far as the national academy of sciences is concerned) created a similar panic and was used to funnel vast amounts of stimulus money into the economy disguised as bioterrorism defense spending. Surely you'd think the fruits of that spending would be evident somewhere in the current effort?
Of course the other objective of the Rovian strategy was to create panic and build emotional support for an invasion of Iraq. It was remarkably successful (as was the keynesian spending DHS and war spending provided, for a while) and goes to prove, once again, that you should never underestimate the credulousness and ignorance of sizable swaths of the US public.

BTW, for you "crashed hard drive conspiracy" folks.
The mother lode of 70 or so anthrax strains held at Iowa State was very quickly and quietly destroyed. Scientists say that would have been the key piece of evidence- tracking the DNA of the strains.
Betcha didn't have Bill, Rush et al hammerin' that one home very 15 minutes like commercials for Coke.
Solyndra did it!

Well Nox, we know the Obama administration downplayed ebola in knowing in would get into this country so the dems could bash the repubs with killing American with budget cuts. They need an issue to run on. The omly reason it is here.
See how easy that is.

Re: the presidents painting is not nearly as bad
AS the paint job Fox news and the teabaggers have done on the first black president of the united states. That has been a full time smear job of unprecedented preportions! You emphatically remark about the presidents poor popularity standing and ignore what part you folks have had in creating it.
A pox on you traiterous bass turds!

Re: GW Bush..."Miss me Yet?"
I doubt that only because it happens to fall fight smack dab into the GOP nativisim/racism wheelhouse.
BTW, not unlike climate change insofar as no matter what long haired ideological philosphies folks come up with, nature still bats last.
