Gallup poll shows huge Republican surge

In 2008, exit polls showed there were 9 points more Democrats than Republicans, today Gallup in a low margin of error poll shows there are 3 points more Republicans, Republicans are 15 points greater than in `08.  This is why some polls have been out of wack all summer and in many cases was a mistake done on purpose to make Obama look stronger http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYQneQ3SXtI    Circumstancial evidence of this is how the "gentlemen" conducted themselves at the debates.  Romney and Ryan were confident and polite, Obama and Biden were extremely angry, kind of like if you have 80 hd of cattle loose in the corn and you`re the only only one to chase them back in...desperation.   Just read Chris Mathews face...he knows, he has been looking like someone just run over his favorite dog for weeks now.

Who taught you to repeat that?

"Oromney and Oryan were confident and polite, Obama and Biden were extremely angry,"

The same parrot masters who taught your flock the "hate"

" theme during the Cheney Mis administration.

Re: Gallup poll shows huge Republican surge

THis campaign just makes you wonder "what if" the rambling McCain and loose cannon Palin had not been BamaOBiden's adversaries in 2008, but instead an reasonably articulate tandem. Doubt we would have had to experience the last four years.

Public radio is still talking about Obama eking out an electoral win while losing the public vote. They were quoting a poll that shows 7 out of ten whites, including men and women, going for Romney. With other sources saying that over 9 out of ten, and almost ten out of ten blacks going for Bama, isn't this the type of racism that we had hoped would be transcended?

Yes, he is ahead in the average of all the polls by .9 of a point but not in the electoral vote.  You should be like me and would vote to get rid of the electoral college as it's initial purpose is no longer valid.

I predict that should Romney get elected there will be millions of women cutting their husbands off from their spousal priviledges. Some of which will be seeking comfort in the arms of those kindly loveable democrats.

Re: Gallup poll shows huge Republican surge

no Schurrbart, what those "rosey Obama" polls have been is over polling Democrats, assuming that 9% more Democrats will vote like they did in 2008...not the case today 3% more identify themselves as Republican.  And Romney is ahead with Independents.  To win electoral votes you must win the popular vote in the state.  For example if the rosey/Chris Mathews poll say Obama "up by 1 in Ohio" but assumes the same number of Democrats will vote as they did in 2008 ..instead of "Obama being up by one" it is more like Romney being up by 7 or 8.   I know why they polled that way, it was to shock and awe and dishearten the Romney supporters.  But as always the truth comes out in the wash.
