I can't imagine Mitch blowing up the filibuster. Pres Warren or Gilibrand or Harris with 50 D Senators could get it to 6-3 quick. Judges well to the left of Ruth and Sonja. Be careful what you wish for.

Going to be really tough to get 8 D votes for Gorusch. No reason for them to.

Yea, I don't like the Harry Reid precedence either, but at least now we already know that the Democrats would use the nuclear option in the same situation.  I agree, it would be difficult to get 8 votes from the D's on anything right now but if the D's vote in favor of the nuclear option with 48 no votes for Gorsuch, I would oblige them.  I also agree that Ruth & Sonja are nutty left activist judges and that there are even nuttier lefty judges than those 2.  The court may likely go in favor of the D's at some point but the longer we can put it off the better for the Country.

IMO  I don`t think Dems will want to die on this hill, oh they have to squeal and make look good for their base, but Gorsuch will get in anyway conventionally or nuclear.   And it`s just trading Scalia for Gorsuch..."He can`t be any woooorse than Scalia, can he?".   I think the next SCOTUS is when the Dem`s long knives come out, especially if Ginsberg goes to see Jesus.  

I have a feeling the Dems will have vitamins delivered to all the liberal judges the next 4 years and if one croaks, they`ll fill their boots with sand and put a stiff drink in their hand.  🙂

From what we heard from Gorsuch today, it was a little encouraging, considering who nominated him, but until they vote on Justice Garland, they can go to hell. It's only fair! But of course you won't think so.

Ruth Ginzburg is Jewish so I doulbt she will ever be seeing Jesus, at least up close.

Harry Reid used the nuclear option, so any fallout accrues to him.
