Re: Great news

You have to conquer your demons to move on, and if the Republicans can decisively defeat the Hildebeast, it will be a good moment.

Personally , I would love to see a Scott Walker/Rand Paul ticket emerge and just see where that goes. Get Rick Perry on board with a cabinent position and somehow get the Chrisitie/Romney/JethroBUsh/ Rino branch out of the way.

Run a conservative ticket and see what happens.

Re: Great news

That would be up from 99.5%?

As I've said, I won't vote for any Bush or Clinton although currently not seeing a lot else but a lot of other duplicitous moneygrubbers and a neoconfederate..

Re: Great news

John Hunstsman and Charles Johnson were palatable last time. The Paulson kid who represents the Minnesota 4th is good, but nobody knows who he is   And I never give up hope on Chuck Hagel.

My political dream team would be an indie 3rd way ticket of Hagel and Jim Webb...either way.

Re: Great news

Not ncessarily Hillary, but we need mean. Desperately.  Been living on 14 years of milquetoast.

Jim Webb 2016

Re: Great news

I've voted in 11 Presidential elections and only 4 times did I vote "for" someone and the other 7 as a blocker, definitely against the prospects ofa particular candidate winning.  Those would be the 7 where I voted for the Democratic nominee.  The other 4 were for minor partycandidates who didn't have a cnance but I knew it wouldn't make a difference in the Minnesota electoral vote.

Amy's a bit  overated, BTW. She keeps the DLC crowd hooked up too good in the Minnie DFL.

This Jim Webb?

the one that has been married three times, left his first wife and 8 yr old daughter for a lobbyist, and then left his second wife and four kids for a young Vietamese woman? That's the one?

Or the one that writes pornographic novels? Maybe that's the one.

Run the guy....can't wait to see how he does in a national election. He does hate GW BUsh, though..he has that going for him.

Re: Great news

I too vote "against" the other major contender that`s in the race, except the 2 times that I voted for Ross Perot, howver the arguement can be made that people like me inadvertently but Clinton in the white house.

This is probably why you and I Bruce are one of the few that "second chance voting" apeals to.  Don says "whoever the Democrats put up is good enough for me!...if you Repubs want to vote against your guy, by all means you do that".   I see nothing else that will break up the lock that the 2 establishment parties have....of course those that don`t have a problem with that, they see as a threat.

Re: This Jim Webb?

Yeah, that one. Closest bio to Reagan as anyone  on the scene.

I want those 2 smart, mean Vietnam combat vets in the executive offices.  Maybe they can find a slot in the administration for John McCain and get hm away from having to hang out with Ted Cruz and Lindsay Graham.

Re: This Jim Webb?

Surely nobody meaner than Obama, who looked funny at some financial types before giving them about 90% of what they wanted.... and for keeping the corpse on life support while they harvested the organs.

Re: Great news

I doubt that any of the liberals that post here will be ashamed to come out and gleefully campaign for the Hildebeast, is she becomes the annointed one for them.

If she peed into a cup and their lamestream media handlers told them it was the new and improved kook aid, to a man they would cheerfully drink it. Some with a smile on their faces.
