As winter turns into spring new challenges take place on the Bartak farm. Weining the fall calfs off their mothers and working them into the feedlot saves the farm time and money on feed. A controlled burn turns into a wildfire that the boys must try to control before Zack's house goes up in flames. Also, family and friends gather for the 2013 branding day and even though Mother Nature is refusing to warm up the weather, the Bartaks prepare this years planting.
