I don`t know where you`re going with this Bruce, but folks that i have counseled in the midst of a divorce have lead me to believe that the "no fault divorce in Iowa and many states is a big problem.
If there isn`t a prenup a trampy woman can just wake up one fine morning and for no reason get a divorce and take half the man`s assets. I suppose the reverse is true to if it`s a wealthy woman, though I`ve never run across a case like that.
Someone is ALWAYS mostly at fault in a divorce. If a woman just goes through some "change of live" and call quits to a 30 year marriage just to play "cougar" ...there some be some "pain" for that decission, she shouldn`t get half the man`s assets, but that is a "no fault divoce".
I know I know I know if a man is beating up a woman, screwing around or mean to the kids, he should be taken to the cleaners. But if he`s some poor schlep that has his nose to the grindstone and his old lady`s hormones get out of whack and she wants to go whoring like a Kardashian, she shouldn`t get rewarded.
