Even under the Obama care it was unaffordable to some. The middle class as usual was squeezed the most.
And let's be clear. I Don't want gov run healthcare. I want gov health insurance. Why? Because I'm paying for me and everyone who can't pay anyway.
And I don't want it to be a vehicle for the gov to control my life and choices. If I smoke, use tobacco, drink soft drinks with sugar, skydive, bull fight, it shouldn't matter, this is another fear of this idea! Further gov regulation of my choices! Something could be done with Medicare over time for it to cover all. Say a reduction of coverage age over time where costs could be absorbed over time without shock to the system. It could work if all of the special interests could keep there hand out of it.
