People that are inclined to vote for Perry are going to be more inclined to vote for the man as this case gets more publicity.

The thing about this case is that it was all done in full public view, and no doubht according to the will of the majority of Texans.

Its not like some lecherous American president having illicit sex with an intern and soiling up the oval office. It was about getting a disgraced public servant to resign, and that will resonate with all but the most diehard libtards.

If Perry was in the wrong, it would not take a partisan court to bring him down...it could be done politically. And good luck with that, Chicken plucker.

Seldom catch the show, but wanted to see what they said about the Perry indictment joke, and all four commentators seemed to agree with my amatuer assessment......that the indictment was a political stunt, the matter had political solutions outside of court, and that it does nothing...nada...to hurt the presidential ambitions of Gov. Perry.

A Political solution does not erase the criminal indictment. It was political coersion. An out right attempt to coerce an elected official into resigning and the offer included passage of bill. Admission by the defendent that his vote was for sale.

It's the same logic used by Chris Christee to intimidate opposition politicians into accepting his heavy handed demands. No doubt teaxs republicans will support Rick Perry, but the national; electorate will not and neither will the justice department. He may well expect a federal indictment. He not only broke state law but federal law at the same time.
