Highest "right track" percent in 12 years!
Forty-seven percent (47%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey for the week ending January 26.
That’s up nine points from the previous week and the highest level of optimism in over 12 years of regular surveying. After being in the mid- to upper 20s for much of 2016, the weekly finding has now been at 30% or higher every week since mid-October. This is the first time it’s been in the 40s since late 2012, but it remains to be seen whether this finding represents a new burst of optimism or is just a one-week statistical hiccup.

The national telephone survey of 3,000 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports from January 22-26, 2017. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 2 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. Re: Highest "right track" percent in 12 years!
I am looking for a late model backhoe, and I sure wish I would have purchased one back in September 2016 when Trump was supposed to be at the verge of dropping out of the election and conceding to the Hildebeast. If what has happened in the industrial equipment market is a good barometer of the mood of the nation, it is a very good time indeed.
Was driving around Mankato and looking at the housing starts going on, was up in the cities and seeing loaded cement trucks driving around....so many trucks that you wish sometimes there was a parallel truck highway system....lots of economic activitiy and a very positive mood, even in the midst of winter..
Maybe we should give the credit to Barry for the next 8 years.....didn't the fruitloops blame Bush for the last 8 years?

First...Rasmussen? Please.
That said, do you ever let rationality get in ahead of disingenuousness? To save yourself the embarrassment.
All of that activity you just described. Permits issued and engineering plans approved, financing and appropriations arranged and approved. When? Obviously taken out and arranged and $$$ committed under under the previous regime andcthe prospects (albeit unrealized) of what was predicted widely to be another Dem administration.
Not to even begin to mention that every piece you mention was/is taking place in the verifiably heavily leaning BLUE socialist economic wastelands of Mankato, and Blue Earth, Ramsey and Hennepin Counties.
Are you going to pose that if theother ticket would have won the Federal election that all of those projects would have been paused or cancelled?
What at a joke.

Yes he can
If you think about it, since Reagan, any President can be considered an economic success if the major stock indices are going up.
I assume that corporate tax cuts and "deregulation" can make things go up a while longer. Of course the whole scheme has become 100% about the insiders stripping out orders of magnitude more for themselves while delivering something that qualifies passably as "shareholder value."
Tough to trickle down while you're flooding up, though, and the middle and working classes will see little of it. Hard telling how long they can be kept on board, though, through the various fascist techniques of fear, religion, patriotism, scapegoating.

Re: Yes he can
BTW, the FIRE sector was, what 40% of the SP500 at the 2007 peak?
Eliminate most of the financial regulations and the banks are going to start announcing huge layoffs- which will drive right to the bottom line.
And then what? I have no idea, seriously.

Plus 49% agree with the immigration stance of Trump vs 41% disagreeing.
Trump has broad public support inspite of the lying mainstream news media.
