And as far as hoping the immediate threat- coronavirus- is contained, who wouldn't?
But this thing has been manipulated far beyond the economic reality and a market with trend a belief that the government has its back can run a lot farther than you'd think.
But it will be a function of time more than price- it will just have to burn itself out and when it does it will be ugly. The time would be less than 9 months.
That's bad for the country (the present is bad for the country in the long run) but not bad for people who sell near the top, and maybe short it.
For people who actually believe in "markets," seeing mother nature have her revenge is sweet.
I have no better idea than anyone else about coronavirus. Best guess- it isn't a major pandemic but does cut global growth somewhat.
