How are we going to fund government

If we laud and applaud folks that avoid or evade income taxes. Some body has to pay for all those wars and preparing for even greater wars.

Evidently these folks are anti government and want it to fail.

On the backs of you retired/older folks. Collectively, you are more responsible for not paying enough longer

As if you didn't take all the deductions you could to better your bottom line.

The chirstians say they will pray for everything we need and the lord will provide.

In other words, were screwed.

Re: How are we going to fund government

I'm not a retired guy. I currently farm and pay taxes accordingly. I do not avoid taxes. I pay them and use the excess as I see fit. I've been paying into SS for 60 years and medicare from it's beginning. And yes i still am paying both taxes SS and Medicare. How much longer do you think I need to pay.

Both taxes I could avoid if I retired and rented the farms out. However we are farming our own land and hiring the farming done. Health concerns prohibits our tiling the soil ourselves.

So once again you shot your mouth off without knowing the details. I pay uncle sam handsomely because somebody has to do it and my after tax earnings are freed up for investment. While you jerks are trying to avoid taxes at any cost, I am paying for real estate for my childrens benefit.

I've been there for a time at spending profusely to avoid taxes. Big mistake! Much smarter to pay the tax and use the balance to invest in real estate. $800 land worth $8000 today and that is only one of the parcels.

I know how little you contribute both to government and to this conversation. But again you are a nameless coward taking pot shots at real people while you don't know squat about what we are doing.

From the same people who said if you like your policy you can keep your policy. Period. The estimate was wrong. The deficit came in at 1.4 trillion.

This is what I said: "On the backs of you retired/older folks. Collectively, you are more responsible for not paying enough longer"

Do you see that little "/" between "retired" and "older"? Do you know what that means? I know you're an absintee farmer. That's why the "/" is there.

That's why I said. The older you are, the more you are responible for the overspending of government. My 17 year old daughter will be responsible for debt she had no say in.

Something you've been saying for years is we need to fund the government with tax paid by people who can pay for it. That would be people like you

Re: How are we going to fund government

I thought you were once a farmer. You must have bought some new equipment at some point and deducted it as an expence. Or did Daddy give you everything and you just road on easy street your whole life.
