I guess I’ll differ
from the conservative epidemiological community, who are not happy with the more lax approach to this wave.
All but a very few who have legitimate reasons to not get vaccinated should be by now. There should be relatively few serious illnesses among the vaccinated.
Although the sharp rise in pediatric hospitalizations does bother me.
The anti-virals will be in very short supply. Medical ethics say to reserve the doses for them.
A shame, but oh well.

For the unvaccinated, that is, or the very high risk vaccinated.

Re: I guess I’ll differ
I hear tell of hospitals stopping antibody therapy owing to no supply of the one that works on omicron. Although you’d think there’s still some delta and they’d sequence cases.
Same will happen with the antivirals.
Even if you think you’re bulletproof it is a bad idea to get sick when everybody else is.

Re: I guess I’ll differ
Your not fully vaccinated until you have your boosters ...and why are the anti virals in short supply I thought * had this stoped cold with the first shot it was a conspiracy theory to say you would need boosters
Pcr test abandoned for the new cue test by Gates and Fauci ....seems numbers have been inflated the whole time on the positive test results
If it was a serious pandemic you wouldn't have to sell propaganda every day or flip flop to a desired position to be safe
I see influenza and the cold are back now after taking a year and a half off... so much to keep up with

cancer/ heart disease /diabetes just to name a few
That's a 2 yr death count of 800,000 and most not on the virus alone lots were co morbidities or simply false reporting and were with a vaccine that was supposed to stop it cold

Re: I guess I’ll differ
They never said the vaccine would stop it cold. They said, that the vaccine had 80 - 90 percent efficacy. No where did I ever see, that it was 100% effective, like you Republican Bàstàrds keep claiming.
Like the “defund the police”, maybe they needed to come up with a new word for this drug, which was intended to keep people from getting seriously ill, which it has. It’s you Bàstàrds that keep adding to the reality, that never was there to begin with. It’s far better to see thousands and thousands die, even if many of them are in your own party, than give President Biden any credit. You guys really are all a bunch on Bàstàrds - there’s no other word for it.

Re: I guess I’ll differ
There were sure plenty touting the "vaccines" were 95% effective.
snip:
Pfizer and BioNTech said Wednesday that a final data analysis found their coronavirus vaccine was 95% effective in preventing Covid-19 and appeared to fend off severe disease.
The vaccine, called BNT162b2, becomes highly effective against the virus 28 days after the first dose, and its effectiveness was consistent across all ages, races and ethnicities, the drugmakers said. Additionally, the elderly, who are seen as at high risk of severe illness from Covid-19, saw vaccine effectiveness of more than 94%, the companies said.
“The final analysis underlines the results of the positive interim efficacy analysis announced on November 9,” BioNTech CEO Ugur Sahin said in a statement. “The data indicates that our vaccine ... is able to induce a high rate of protection against COVID-19 only 29 days after the first dose. In addition, the vaccine was observed to be well-tolerated in all age groups with mostly mild to moderate side effects, w

They all said it Fauci/Gates/ Biden/Walensky.....it would stop the transmission you could not get sick or die and could throw away the mask just take the shot
Biden said he would resign if he had 200,000 thousand die like Trump had while president and he didn't even have the miracle vaccine yet now joey has over 600,000 and now there is no solution to covid 19
Sorry you have been lied to

Re: I guess I’ll differ
Exactly DW! About a year ago (especially after the election went their way) they were swearing up and down how wonderful it was going to be..."no masks.... back to normal....one and done!"
