Over 600 foals out of secretariat and I don't know of any that were great race horses.

Secretariat's pa was seattle slews grandpa. Secretariats grandpa was seattle slews great grandpa.  The autopsy on secretariat showed he had a heart 2&3/4's the size of a "normal" race horse.

Of course the genes of both are still in circulation and it is only a matter of time before the "incredible" genes surface.

I'll have another has Native Dancer 6 generations back in his blood line. Native dancer won every race he was entered from 1952-54 except the kentucky derby which came in second.
