Nobody's ever passed out so much of it in the months before an election before, not even close by an order of magnitude.

Probably 10% of the country has been pushed into dire straits, another 10% into precarity.

But about 80% has been very well shielded from the economic impacts of the pandemic.

And you will find a very small percentage who actually know (or care to know) the politics of how that came to be.
