I thought Canada wanted Muslims and...

...didn`t like guns. So what`s up with shooting Muslims?

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/five-dead-in-quebec-city-mosque-shooting-mosque-president/ar-AAm...

If I was a Muslim, I don`t know if I`d be too quick taking up Trudeau`s offer to move to Canada.

Let's wait until they figure out who and what was happening.

Reports are that the shooters had a "quebecois" accent  so they would not be immigrants.

What will you have to say IF they turn out to be bigotted 'christians'?

SInce you like Leviticus so much, why dont you follow this one?

33 “‘When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. 34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

Of course, be nicey-nice and goody-good to everyone, but don`t drag pagans into your country!

Ezra 9

GOD'S WORD® Translation

1After these things had been done, the leaders came to me and said, "The people of Israel, including the priests and Levites, have failed to keep themselves separate from the neighboring groups of people and from the disgusting practices of the Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians, and Amorites. 2The Israelites and their sons have married some of these foreign women. They have mixed our holy race with the neighboring groups of people. Furthermore, the leaders and officials have led the way in being unfaithful." 3When I heard this, I tore my clothes [in distress], pulled hair from my scalp and my beard, and sat down in shock. 4Since the former exiles had been unfaithful, everyone who gathered around me there trembled at the words of the God of Israel. I sat in shock until the evening sacrifice.

5At the evening sacrifice I got up from my misery, and with my clothes torn, I knelt down, stretched out my hands to the LORD my God in prayer, 6and said, "I am ashamed, my God. I am embarrassed to look at you. Our sins have piled up over our heads, and our guilt is so overwhelming that it reaches heaven. 7From our ancestors' days until now, we have been deep in guilt. Our kings and our priests have been handed over to foreign kings to be executed. We have been taken captive, robbed, and humiliated, as we still are today because of our sins. 8And now, for a brief moment, the LORD our God has been kind enough to leave us a few survivors from Babylon and to give us a secure hold on his holy place. Our God has made our eyes light up and has given us new opportunities while we were slaves. 9We are slaves, but our God hasn't abandoned us in our slavery. Instead, he has made the kings of Persia treat us kindly. He did this to give us an opportunity to rebuild our God's temple and restore its ruins and to give us a protective wall in Judah and Jerusalem.

10"And now, our God, what can we say after all this? We have abandoned your commandments! 11The commandments you gave us through your servants the prophets, said, 'The land you are going to take possession of has been polluted by its perverted people and by their disgusting practices that have filled it with wickedness from one end to another. 12So never let your daughters marry their sons or your sons marry their daughters, and never seek peace or trade with them. Then you will be strong, be able to eat the good things the land produces, and be able to give this land as a long-lasting inheritance to your children.' 13"After all that has happened to us because of the evil things we have done and because of our overwhelming guilt, you, our God, have punished us far less than we deserve and have permitted a few of us to survive. 14If we break your commandments again and intermarry with people doing these disgusting things, you will become even more angry with us until you finally destroy us and no survivors are left. 15LORD God of Israel, because you are fair, a few of us continue to remain as survivors. Look at us. All of us are guilty. None of us can stand in your presence because of this."

Re: I thought Canada wanted Muslims and...

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner! Folks, I think we have a workable solution to our current turmoil.

Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has graciously tweeted over the weekend to welcome all refugees into his country.

Granted Canada's gain will be America's loss, but it will be something we will all just have to learn to live with. Besides, imagine the upside to our neighbors in the north. They will be get large numbers of skilled, educated, tolerant, and highly cultured human beings from places like Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Somalia.

You just wait and see. Total immersion of these oppressed and gentle people into the wonderful Canadian nation will happen quicker than you can say...well...just quicker than you can say,  Bob's your uncle...ehhh? Guaranteed.

All that need be done now is ask Mr. Trudeau which airport in Canada he would like us to drop off his future fellow citizens.

Re: I thought Canada wanted Muslims and...

You do realize that the estimated number of foreigners working in silcone valley is 70%.

Have you listened to the stories of brilliant scientists who are unable to travel to your country now to do co-operative work with your scientists?

A Canadian scientist was turned back the other day because somehow his background did not suit your new rules.

His work can not be done now unless the people in your country he was going to consult come to Canada to work with him.

Others have cancelled plans to travel because of concerns over the new rules.

Some who are in your country are afraid to leave for business, education or scientific studies because they would not be allowed to return to their families.

Do you think your new president and his advisors really thought about what their plan was going to do?

Or did they just take a notion and run with it and now are finding out the consequences of their actions?

Re: I thought Canada wanted Muslims and...

Those high paying jobs will now be filled with unemployed US college grads.

Re: I thought Canada wanted Muslims and...

So why did they have to pay premiums to get others to move there for the jobs to begin with if you have so many people unemployed just waiting to take their place.

BTW I have friends who have a son who moved to Caifornia to work in the so called silicon valley.

Left a job in Canada because they offered him so much money to move and work there.

And he is a visible minority too, although he was born in Canada his parents were immigrants who prospered here and raised a productive family.

Was just curious about how this would happen -- a Canadian citizen?  Was under the impression that the order temporarily halting travel/immigration applied to citizens of 7 countries, not including Canada?

Re: I thought Canada wanted Muslims and...

Canuck,

Our loss will be your gain...and many of us are just sick about it.

Heck, and just wait until the millions of followers from the religion that dare not speak its name in polite company, hear about all of the free healthcare they are going to be getting when they arrive. If that is not a marriage made in heaven, I simply do not know what is.

BTW: Did Prime Minister Trudeau indicate whether he wished the incoming planes (filled with all of those peace loving future Canadian citizens) to be vectored through Montreal or Quebec?

Time, space and logistics are everything in delecate matters such as these.
