I want to comment on the lovely humorous exchange

Between the Bushes and the Obamas at the presentation of the portraits of resident Bush and the former first lady.

The lovely Ms. Laura commented that every tenant in the white house loves to see the protraits of the previous tenants hanging on the wall of their residence.

George commented that more than likely Obama would stop in front his portrait and ponder about what dubya would do under those circumstances.

Both Obama and Michelle commented on how gracious the Bushes were in the transistion period.

George also introduce the most lovely first lady in history, his wife laura. In addition he said sorry mom to his mother Barbara.

It was a fun exchange between the two families and I enjoyed it.

It probably helps that they never ran against each other, thus no bad blood left from an election.  Of course Clinton beat Bush41 in an election and they seem to get along just fine.  Perhaps some in the American public take these elections and politics far more personal than do the candidates.

I watched a news video of the unveiling of the paintings and the Bush's jokes and found it refreshing to see some Dems and Repubs together acting civil and having a good time.

I think both the Bushs and Obama's are fine folks and have no doubt if they spent an evening out in private they would get along just fine and enjoy each others company.

Somethimes W can be almost as funny as Will Ferrell playing W.
