IA success story

textbook decline in Covid cases following statewide public health orders.

Deaths trail but are beginning to fall too. Soon the state will no longer be the third worst place in the world if it was a country, after SD and ND.

Worth noting that the trajectory was clear several weeks before the election but the Gov couldn’t risk mean tweets from Dear Leader.

Real world evidence has no standing here, but for the record.

Re: IA success story

Flu cases do increase as schools and sports start, people indoors more, so that early fall spike shouldn`t be a surprise.  As tans, capris and patio activities are exchanged for hoodies, board games and running furnaces of course flu cases go up.  Being aware masks, sins to wear masks and available hand sanitizer will of course flatten the curve.

Iowa corn planters see less use in July than in April...seasons change.   95° July day is a good time to buy a snowblower.
